Introduction

The terminological lexicon is constant object of steadfast attention of researchers. Term science, special branch of linguistics, was generated and now actively develops. At present time the bibliography on term science hardly is subject to calculation. Numerous works also are devoted to various aspects of linguistic terminology, but thus it is marked, that a material of linguistic terminology are «seldom involved to common terminological problems».

The decision of terminological objectives is necessary for a science which shows constant interest to the meta language. Now within the limits of the general theory of term science the problem of studying and presentation of a terminological subsystem of modern Russian as permanent working processes of terms formation is actual have accepted character of information explosion last years. Unknown activization term-creating is observed. First of all, multidimensional consideration of named units as special language signs is important for comprehension of this process.

The present research is devoted to pragmatical properties of the linguistic term, to its estimated and emotional-expressive components. As is known, the term in general and linguistic term in particular admits neutral unit in style and emotional-exptessive relation. This property of the term admits as axiom by many researchers. There is an opinion, that «it is hardly probable expedient to search in the term for all that is peculiar to a usual word,» [L.E.Azarov, 1999 : 193].

However, in our opinion, it is wrongful to do not notice those displays in semantics and pragmatics of the term which pull together it with a usual word because it impoverishs our representation about terminology and its opportunities. It is not necessary to think, that pragmatical co-meaning the term can exclusively get in the estimated context passing opinion only of one author. Pragmatical marks (indications to pejoratives of the term) can contain even in atricle « Linguistic Terms Dictionary». So, O.S.Ahmanova [2004] absolutely fairly, in our opinion, marks pejoratives of the term a slang (see in chapter 3).

Research of term pragmatics became possible owing to two major circumstances: 1) recognition of a pragmatical saturation separate (isolated) words; 2) attraction aspect «the term - the person» in modern term science. We believe, that these two positions (by J.D.Apresjana, understanding of the pragmatical information fixed to a separate word and outlined opportunity of the term-lexical analysis from positions of anthropocentrism have allowed to describe types of the pragmatical information which can be transfer by terminological word.

Methodological basis of the degree work became works by domestic term-scientists: R.A.Budagov, L.J.Bujanova, V.V.Vinogradov, G.O.Vinokur, N.V.Vasileva, B.N.Golovin, N.B.Gvishiani, V.P.Danilenko, T.H.Kade, V.M.Lejchik, O.D.Mitrofanova, N.V.Podolsk, A.A.Reformatskii, A.V.Superanskaya, A.N.Tikhonov, V.A.Tatarinov, etc. Research of linguistic term pragmatics bases also on general-theoretical positions and concepts of school for theoretical problems of metalanguage substansionality headed by G.P. Nemets.

Novelty of research consists that attempt of exarticulation and purposeful analysis of a pragmatical (estimated) component in the semantic contents of the scientific linguistic term component which, in opinion of many researchers, the term is deprived basically but which, as shown in work, often is formed in the common meta language of linguistics and in its separate metadialects is undertaken for the first time.

Semiotics properties of linguistic terms became object of research, first of all - their pragmatical contents which is realized in indissoluble connection with semantics and syntactic.

Object of research in degree works are language terms, understood widely, with inclusion general philological and rhetorical terms of type as style, figure and others .

The basic purpose of our work consists of the establishment and systematization of pragmatic features of modern English linguistic terms and ways of translating them into Russian.

The overall aim predetermines some specific targets of the research:

to analyse the intrinsic characteristics of the term as a special type ob language sign;

to investigate dynamic characteristics of language-learning discourse, having influence on term-using;

to show a certain connection between cultural factor and a scientific linguistic text in general and a system of terms used in it in particular;

to study features of the pragmatical contents of modern linguistic terminology;

to define the opportunities of emotional-expressive synonyms functioning within the limits of term- lexics.

The purpose and the objectives of our work predetermine the use of the set of research methods :

· the componental analysis (for revealing constant and relative elements in the semantic contents of the term);

· contextual lingua-pragmatical analysis aimed at the exposure conditionalityof the choice of term due to the intention of the sender and a wide context of a situation;

In thepresent paper we made an allempt to analyse meta language of linguistic science. Scientific texts on linguistics, articles, monographs, theses and materials of scientific as well as dictionaries, served as research material.The list of linguistic texts which have served as empirical material coincides with the list of the cited scientific works which are used in our degree works. The theoretical importance of work. Is seen in the fact that this research can promote further development of term science. The materials of this diploma work are important for specification of linguistics sublanguage features. We believe, that conclusions of the research will be demanded by those who are going to carry out investigation lingua-pragmatical directions. The practical significance of work. Lies in the fact that the theoretical and empirical material of the research can be used in philologists training in high school: while studying such theoretical courses, as «Introduction to linguistics», «General Linguistics», «Stylistics of the English language», special courses on terminology and lingua-pragmatics, and also for independent researchers in course and degree works.
